• Distributed Queue Dual Bus: also known as 802.6

• Size around 100 km

• Speed: 155 or 622 Mbits/s

• Medium: optical fiber or coaxial cable

• Based on two busses, one for each data directions

• Frames are emitted every 125 ms by a generator at the end of each busses

• Frames are divided in slices compatible with the ATM cells
